The club was the first all-girls drinking club established hosted by that St. Andrews University, which was meant to be a social drinking club. Some think it was established for Middleton to have the opportunity to drink, but it was founded as she wanted it to be a feminist response.
The university she attended established drinking clubs which excluded women, so she decided to make her on club only for women. According to The Inquisitr, Middleton never got drunk - even once - at any events hosted by the society.
Also, during Middleton's time in St. Andrews, she also modeled lingerie in a student fashion show. Her escapades at the university have been known because it was where she met Prince William, who also attended the same university. Her life before attending St. Andrews has been very private, but after that, everything is history.
In 2007, the creation of Middleton's club was reported. People are fascinated by these stories as Middleton has a reserved nature since assuming a public role, and she acted like a perfect princess. Hence, many have felt that they don't know her as a human - only a princess.

Ever since the story broke on the internet again, fans of Middleton and Markle had to favor one over the other, saying one had more achievements compared to the other one.
