Meghan Markle wants to have a baby as soon as possible, a new report claims. The Duchess of Sussex turns to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton to ask for advice on how to get pregnant.
Reports claim Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted to start their own family and that the Duchess of Sussex is asking for help on how to be pregnant with some family members, including Kate Middleton.
"Meghan has been getting baby making tips from all her friends with kids, including Duchess Kate," a source close to the Duchess of Sussex told HollywoodLife. "Apparently Kate told her to drink more tea. That was her big piece of advice."
This won't be hard for Markle as she reportedly "embraced all the British traditions and has started drinking tea at tea time."
But, according to BabyCentre, the benefits of drinking tea while trying to get pregnant may come with some risks.
"Drinking one cup or two cups of green tea a day is unlikely to do you any harm. But green tea does contain caffeine," as noted in the report. "Take care not to drink too much, especially if you're also drinking coffee and black tea. Although there is no clear link between caffeine and fertility problems, it's a stimulant and if you regularly have too much, it can cause health problems."
In addition, since the Duchess of Sussex has been drinking tea regularly, the source said, "She's not really sure if it will make any sort of difference in helping her get pregnant."
Other friends of Markle from Canada also gave her some advice and tips, saying she should do more yin style yoga and doing a nightly meditation.
"Meghan's not obsessing about getting pregnant but she's very open to everyone's ideas. She's a naturally curious person so she loves learning what worked for her friends when it comes to their fertility," the source explained.
HollywoodLife separately reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "trying non-stop to get pregnant." The source claimed that Markle is using an app on her phone so she can track her fertility which could help her figure out the most effective times to try.
But until now, Markle hasn't made any comments about planning to get pregnant in the public. Fans are hoping to learn more about the plans of the royal couple on having a baby, so they have to wait for an official announcement when she finally is expecting.
