Cardi B clarified that she did not post the infamous meme. However, she admitted that someone from her team did, but does not have a job anymore.

Hollywood Life reports that musician denies claiming responsibility for a since-deleted meme posted on her official Facebook account on September 16. It was reportedly called out for being transphobic.

The meme features a screenshot of Rolf from the American-Canadian animated series "Ed, Edd n Eddy." It has a message that says, "I hope nobody sees this tr***y leave this house."

After it was posted - and eventually deleted - the American rapper took to Twitter to clarify that was not her who shared the meme on social media. She says, "It's come to my attention that there have been offensive posts made on what used to be my Facebook page. For the past year and a half a FORMER team member has been the only one with access to the account."

Cardi B also seems to hint the idea that she already dismissed the said member. She even pointed out that in the past she has been filmed using the same slur repeatedly in a video.

The "Bodak Yellow" singer apologized in May, saying: "I know I have use words before that I wasn't aware that they are offensive to the LGBT community." She added, "I apologise for that. Not everybody knows the correct 'terms' to use I learned and I stopped using it."

She further said that the experience taught her about how the terminology should have been used, Metro reports.

"After the last time the LGBTQ community educated me on the right and wrong way to say things. I would never forget that. This was the mistake of another individual and I apologize for them!"

These are not the only stern denials Cardi B has issued recently. For one, she had to refute accusations by her reportedly former roommate Star Marie, who claimed that the "I Like It" singer allegedly prostituted herself to a client. Eventually, the two allegedly got into a fight.

"Just cause we work in the same building don't mean I f**king know you!" Cardi wrote on Instagram. "I might had say hi and bye and that's about it! Everybody knows I dance with the same girls from the beginning! Me and you have nothing in common so why would I kick it with you? You need mental health!"
