Sofia Richie reportedly wants her boyfriend Scott Disick to be more romantic like her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Richie, 20, started seriously dating Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick, 35, ever since she broke up with Bieber, 24. She usually hangs out with Disick's kids (Mason, 8, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 3,) regularly and she wanted her beau to pull a "Bieber move" and take their relationship into the next level.
"Sofia thinks Justin and Hailey's whirlwind romance is super romantic, and she wishes that Scott would be more open to the idea of getting married," a source close to Richie told HollywoodLife.
The insider added that Richie and Disick are together for over a year now and she worried that their relationship would not progress to the next stage. Though it does not mean that Richie wanted a proposal or to get married ASAP, it would be nice for her if Disick pulls such a nice and sweet move.
"Sofia would love for Scott to be more like Justin when it comes to romance," the source continues. "She loves that he wears his heart on his sleeve and doesn't care what everybody else thinks about his relationship with Hailey. Sofia would love for Scott to make some big public gesture of his love for her."
But, Richie also made it clear in an interview that what she and her boyfriend share are really special.
"We are very happy, very lovey dovey," she said in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald Sept. 9. "We are best friends and that is mainly the strongest connection we have. We have always had that best friend connection and from there it has really worked out. I am so happy."
The relationship between the two has been very hot in the eye of the public as Disick is 15 years older to Richie, so she was constantly being compared to Kourtney. Also, Richie's father - Lionel Richie - reportedly described Disick as a "horrible sex addict" and whose substance abuse is often documented on the reality show.
But, Richie just shrugs it off and denies the rumors
"Everything is so false," she said. "I don't read it because I just get really angry."
Meanwhile, last Saturday, Richie and Disick enjoyed a movie date to a cinema in Calabasas. Richie shows off her gorgeous gams in clingy leggings, while Disick went casual by wearing a tracksuit and white sneakers.
