Recently, Song Joong Ki participated in an interview and photo shoot with Esquire Magazine, and he couldn't help but adore his wife Song Hye Kyo.
During the interview with Esquire, Song Joong Ki said, "In the past, someone I know told me that being able to find a wife you can love forever is a gift of destiny. I believe that the greatest thing a man can do is to love his woman."
He continued saying, "Though some may place value in attaining fame and fortune, I believe the most beautiful thing in the world is being a man who can love his woman in an unchanging way."
Song Joong Ki also said that although they are now married, it does not mean they've gone past the dating stage. He feels like he and Song Hye Kyo we're still dating.
"Honestly, isn't my wife so pretty?" He smiled and affectionately added.
According to Soompi, the interview was then followed by a photo shoot, which will be both available in the September issue of Esquire.
Song Jong Ki has been very open about his love for Song Hye Kyo ever since they got married. For instance, during the 2017 KBS Drama Awards, he shared some sweet after his recent marriage.
"I've met my lifelong partner that I love so much, and so I think I will never forget 2017 in all my life. I'm not sure how to express how happy I am in words." Song Joong Ki answered after being asked how his newlywed life is going.
Joong Ki and Hye Kyo became close while starring in the KBS drama "Descendants of the Sun," wherein fans started to call them "Song-Song" couple.
They announce their surprise engagement in July 2017, and then tied the knot on October 31, 2017, at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul.
Some of the celebrity guests present at the wedding were Park Bo Gum, Super Junior's Donghae, Lee Kwang Soo, Yoo Ah In, 2PM's Junho, SHINee's Minho, Lee Mi Yeon, Lee Seung Joon, Seo Jeong Yeon, Kim Je Dong, and more.
Yoo Ah In and Lee Kwang Soo read letters at the ceremony, while Park Bo Gum played the piano. Ock Joo Hyun, who is a long-time friend of Song Joong Ki, also sang for the couple.
The couple reportedly headed to Europe for their honeymoon, and they have planned to live together in the neighborhood of Itaewon in Seoul.
