Fans might have to wait a little longer for "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma." The much-awaited season 4 of the popular anime series may not premiere until the summer of 2019.
The speculation about "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma" season 4's premiere started when many fans noticed that the anime counterpart is extremely close to the original manga series right now. Because of that, the fourth season might not debut until later than fans were expecting.
The anime series' fourth season might come out in the summer of 2019, although there is still no official premiere date yet. Also, the next season could be called "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate (Yon no Sara)."
As for the plot, the fourth season of "Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma" will continue following Soma Yukihira's (voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka) endeavor during the Promotion Exams Arc, which focuses on the 92nd Tōtsuki Generation's final exams for their first year at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy.
To make things more exciting, a Régiment de Cuisine will also be formed in an effort to return the newly expelled rebels back to the academy. The said "rebels" are those students who are against the new agendas and style of teaching under Azami Nakamura's (voiced by Shō Hayami) administration.
If the rebels win, they will replace all members of the Elite Ten Council. If they lose, all rebels will be expelled while Jōichirō Yukihira (voiced by Rikiya Koyama) and Erina Nakiri (voiced by Hisako Kanemoto) will be forced to join the Central team and adhere to its goals.
The rebels are compose of Soma Yukihira, Erina Nakiri, Megumi Tadokoro (voiced by Minami Takahashi), Takumi Aldini (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), Satoshi Isshiki (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai), Subaru Mimasaka (voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto), Terunori Kuga (voiced by Yūki Kaji) and Totsuke Megishima (voiced by Taiten Kusunoki).
The central team, on the other hand, are consists of Eishi Tsukasa (voiced by Akira Ishida), Rindo Kobayashi (voiced by Shizuka Ito), Momo Akanegakubo (voiced by Rie Kugimiya), Sōmei Saitō (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), Nene Kinokuni (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), Etsuya Eizan (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), Julio Shiratsu (voiced by Takayuki Kondo), and Shoko Kaburagi.
