Many fans are now thrilled for the imminent premiere of Altered Carbon Season 2 after Netflix confirmed its renewal. Avid followers of the series thought that the second installment will arrive in January 2019 but, sad to say, it did not happen.

The good thing is, the camera is already rolling for the second installment of the American dystopian science fiction cyberpunk web television series. EconoTimes reported that the cast and crew only started working on Altered Carbon Season 2 on Feb. 4
The reputable news outlet shared that the filming is happening somewhere in Vancouver, Canada. It even revealed that the entire Altered Carbon Season 2 cast and crew will be staying there for work until June 25, 2019.
So, if this is the case, avid followers of the series may not be able to watch the much-awaited series until Summer 2019. The same online publication predicted that Netflix might start streaming Altered Carbon Season 2 in late 2019 or early 2020.
Though these speculations about Altered Carbon Season 2 could be possible, it is important to note that Netflix has not yet released any official announcement about the second installment's premiere date. Thus, fans should take these predictions lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Reports have it that there would be major changes in the upcoming new installment of the Netflix series after Joel Kinnaman decided to give up his role as Takeshi Kovacs. The Hollywood Reporter shared that Anthony Mackie will replace him in Altered Carbon Season 2.
Avid followers of the series should worry not, despite this, because the show is about the journey of Takeshi over hundreds of years and across various bodies. Hence, it will not be a problem if the antagonist will have a new identity in Altered Carbon Season 2.

Kovacs (Byron Mann), and Alzane Ortega (Marlene Forte) among others.
