Kanye West has yet another bizarre idea for his family. This time, he seems to be saying goodbye to Calabasas after announcing his plans to move to Chicago and "never leaving again."
Kanye West, a 41-year-old musician, and father, dropped a very interesting announcement, which entails his idea to move back to his Windy City hometown and "never leaving again." This is not only a life-changing move, but it is the type that will affect his wife, Kim Kardashian.
The 37-year-old significant other of Kanye West is a native of Southern California. Since then, they have lived together and raised their three kids in Calabasas. Uprooting the brood would certainly them halfway across the country from his children's close cousins and Kim's beloved mother and four sisters. But for the Grammy-winning rapper, he thinks Chicago is going to be the perfect place to call home for his family, Hollywood Life reports.
The publication suggests that this narrative is further confirmed by a reliable source, who was quoted saying, "Kanye's latest visit to his hometown has him feeling emotional and really missing life in Illinois." The tipster also describer Kanye West's affections towards the people in Chicago and said, "Kanye loves how friendly and different all the people are in Chicago and thinks it would be a wonderful place to raise the kids...so they could share the same childhood memories as their father."
It cannot be denied that childhood memories encouraged Kanye West to entertain the idea of going back home. The online outlet, however, suggests that it may appear a bit selfish for him to rip his children away from their close cousins to experience the life he once had.
After all, it would not be the same, especially since her mother Donda West passed away in 2007. As such, his coming home will be about reuniting with his musician pals from Chicago like Chance the Rapper, 25.
Yeezy is an only child whose parents divorced when he was three, so it is not like he would have tons of family around except for a few cousins. As for Kim, she would no longer have any family to turn there. More importantly, this could significantly affect her appearance in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
During Kanye West announcement, he said that he and Chance are looking to hit the studio together and achieve a collaboration, Kardashian Today reports. "Me and Chance working on a brand new album. It's called Good Ass Job," he told a cheering crowd. This is likely to be the main reason why he is looking forward to a possible transfer in the city.
