According to a false site called Woman's Day, Justin Theroux and Angelina Jolie first met charity event in Los Angeles. This was years before he met Aniston on the set of the 2012 movie "Wanderlust."
The only catch, though, is that the tabloid fails to provide zero details about the supposed "charity event," most especially the year when it happened and which charity the two celebrities were supporting. Still, an alleged tipster tells the outlet, "Justin always kept that quiet from Jen as he knew it would infuriate her. They had an instant connection all those years ago."
The magazine's article is based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly nonexistent "source," but Gossip Cop checked in with Theroux's rep, who tells the publication it is "false." While the magazine keeps hiding behind an unnamed and untraceable "insider," the actor's spokesperson is going on the record to dismiss the story, which lacks any kind of specific information about Justin Theroux and Angelina Jolie's supposed run-in.
The tabloid's article also includes absurd claims that Gossip Cop had already busted. For instance, it alleges the "Wanted" actress recently invited Theroux out to dinner in New York City "under the guise of offering him a movie role," though her primary intention was to push a romantic agenda.
The outlet further contends that the Angelina Jolie wants to start a "revenge romance" with Justin Theroux, so she can use it to get back at Aniston for supposedly "reuniting" with her estranged husband, Brad Pitt. Of course, Aniston and Pitt are not back for another romance, and this ultimately makes the premise even more ridiculous.
Meanwhile, another Angelina Jolie confidante recently revealed that the actress is "not interested in dating" and is "focused on her children and work." E! News reports that Jolie is "not dating" and is "very focused on her kids." Official reports also confirmed this narrative, as Jolie "is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be."
Given all the facts, it is safe to say that Angelina Jolie is far from starting a new relationship, let alone building it with Justin dating Theroux. At the end of the day, the two never shared an "instant connection" at a charity event either.
