A new tabloid report claims Jennifer Aniston is planning to get a "revenge" on Justin Theroux by destroying his career. This claim, however, has been debunked.
According to In Touch Magazine, Aniston wants to use her influence in the Hollywood to kick off Theroux on the A-list. "She's fed up with him dating every model and actress in sight and acting like they were never married," said an alleged insider to the magazine.
But this claim had a flaw since Theroux is really friendly with numerous actresses and models. But, there is no indication that he was romantically involved in any of them, let alone every one "in sight."
Yet, the untraceable source of the publication continues saying, "She plans to use her influence to have him marginalized in the TV and film business." The tipster further asserted that Aniston is hoping that her estranged husband "stays relegated to semi-regular parts on cable series and quirky character roles in small films."
"She wants him on the C-list," the alleged source concluded.
According to Gossip Cop, the report of the magazine was based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly imaginary "insider." A rep of Aniston said that this claim is "nonsense."
Earlier of this month, People also reported that Aniston "doesn't even talk about [Theroux] anymore," and that "She doesn't keep up with what he does. She is focusing on her own life." In fact, she has been busy in her career as she actress just wrapped filming the Netflix movie Murder Mystery alongside Adam Sandler, and she'll also star in two additional Netflix films.
Meanwhile, Theroux is also fine in his own career. He will be dubbing the voice of the Tramp in Disney's live-action/CGI remake of Lady and the Tramp, and he is also set to star in the drama Violet alongside Olivia Munn - who is friendly with Aniston. So, it's clear to see that the actress hasn't forbidden her pals from working with her estranged husband. Moreover, Violet is directed by Justine Bateman, the sister of Jason Bateman, who is also a close friend of Aniston.
Hence, as per Gossip Cop, the claim is entirely false as Theroux has been collaborating with people in Aniston's circle. So, the actress is not really on a "vengeful mission" to take down her ex-husband. And regardless, Aniston's spokesperson already confirmed that the article from the tabloid is fabricated.
