Abby Lee Miller once again showed her glamour in celebration of her 52nd birthday at Club Jete, a dance club in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday, September 19, although her real birthday is on September 21. The former "Dance Moms" coach was all smiles as she celebrated her very special day with her close friends.
Miller kept her fans updated by posting a series of snaps on her Instagram Stories. She looked glamorous in her sparkly top paired with oversized loop earrings. It was also a double celebration as Club Jete celebrated its seventh anniversary at the time, per Hollywood Life.
The past couple of years gave Miller the hardest time of her life. She had to stay for 366 days in prison as part of her sentence for bankruptcy fraud. The famous choreographer got released in March, but she got later diagnosed with cancer. She became thin and looked worn out, but the fight is not yet over.
Miller has a new show coming. The dance instructress recently shared a picture of her on the set of a new Lifetime Special on Instagram. "Shooting for a new Lifetime Special in the big gym at the magnificent California Rehabilitation Center!" she captioned her selfie. "Wish I could've stayed longer! #aldc #abbyleemiller #dancemoms #abbylee #aldcla #lifetime."
Miller looks great after she endured five rounds of chemotherapy for her Burkitt lymphoma. She was diagnosed with the illness after she had back surgery in April. She had another emergency spinal operation in June and posted a photo of herself trying to walk again.
In spite of what Miller is going through today, a source told Entertainment Tonight she is still hoping to return to "Dance Moms" Season 8. There are reports she is now looking for some new talents. Another insider revealed Miller is not yet filming for the show's new season, but pre-production is underway.
As Miller is still facing health and other personal battles, her former student, JoJo Siwa, talked about how is she doing these all. She admitted her past coach is not yet 100 percent fine, but she is going there.
Miller currently undergoes different therapies and other things that she needs to go through to heal completely. She also continues her chemotherapy, and for about a session or two, it will get finally completed. Siwa added everything her former coach does is good for her and what important she is happy and in good spirits.
