There are reports Kim Kardashian allegedly gave Kanye West the green light to post a series of video rants on Instagram on Thursday, September 20, to which Nick Cannon replied. The 41-year-old rapper bravely called out Drake, Tyson Beckford, and Nick to defend his wife.
"Kim is completely supportive of Kanye expressing his feelings on social media," a source told the Hollywood Life. Allegedly, Kim knew her husband's plans to post his videos on Instagram, and she supported Kanye on his move and gave him her blessings.
In the series of videos, Kanye revealed how the rumors about Drake and Kim did not "sit right with his spirit." The "Gold Digger" hitmaker believes the 31-year-old Canadian-American rapper intentionally let the news that he and Kim slept together spread like wildfire. Bella Harris' alleged boyfriend even makes it worse by doing the "In My Feelings" song with the lyrics, "KiKi, do you love me?"
There are theories that the KiKi in the song is Kim. Kanye then called out Nick for fueling the rumors about Drake and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star when he appeared on "Everyday Struggle." He also mentioned Tyson for leaving a negative comment on his wife's photo on Instagram, saying she is fake.
Allegedly, Kim felt happy with what Kanye did for her. The Yeezy designer defended her, and it made her feel honored that he let everything out of his chest. "Kim loves her husband very much and felt like this was the right time and the right thing to do," the insider added.
Meanwhile, Nick answered Kanye's shoutout in a video on Instagram on the same day, per E! News. "So I just landed in Houston, we sold out the Toyota Center tonight, but I just got word [sic]," the 37-year-old record producer said. He then welcomed Kim's husband back and added he is glad of his return. Mariah Carey's formed husband first gave his love and respect to him and went on to say he never said anything bad neither about his wife nor their marriage.
"I salute it, keep it going," Nick commended. However, the radio and television personality added Kanye has no right to tell him what he can and cannot say. He then explained that if somebody asked him a question, he would answer it with his best ability. He would gladly give his opinion, but with no harm or foul words.
Nick continued to say he understands Kanye's "weird feeling" about his spirit. "Cause you know a man's spirit is free, but pride binds it at times," he added. He then advised Kim's husband to "let it loose." In a second video, the "Gigolo" rapper invited Ye to Wild 'n Out.
