A new report claims Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have "called a truce" in their divorce after a "secret meeting." However, this claim has been debunked.

Last week, ET Online reported that Jolie and Pitt had a secret meeting to "improve their co-parenting relationship" and "make things work" when it comes to sharing custody of their kids. The report claimed that the meeting, which happened at Jolie's home, was a "success."

"Brad and Angelina actually set up a secret meeting at her house... Brad and Angie's meeting was a success," said the alleged tipster. "Angelina decided it was time to try to make things work."

But, the article did not mention the specifics, like when was the get-together took place and what the two had agreed on regarding custody. The publication also cited an unidentifiable source, which kept on kept alternating between referring to Jolie as "Angelina" and "Angie."

Just recently, Celebrity Insider also wrote about the same report, claiming Jolie and Pitt have "called a truce" in their divorce. According to Gossip Cop, the publication recycled ET article, and wrote, "If the reports are true, this could be a step towards finalizing the divorce and moving on."

What's more, as per Gossip Cop, the publication keeps on using terms like "the source claims" and "Jolie is the one who allegedly put the secret meetings in motion." Using the word like "claims" and "allegedly" likely mean the outlet has very little faith in the story.

It should also be noted that Celebrity Insider has been reporting false stories about the estranged couples. Just last month, the publication wrote an original article from RadarOnline claiming Neri Oxman dumped Pitt as she's "scared off" by the actor's custody battle with Jolie.

The alleged source of the outlet source goes on to say that Oxman was "spooked away from Brad because he had to take Angie to court just to get to see his kids this summer."

However, according to the New York Post, Oxman and Pitt only shared a "professional friendship." People similarly reported the friendship of the two "is not romantic." And E! News confirmed as well that Oxman and Pitt are "strictly friends." Hence, the MIT professor and movie star never dated.

Regardless, Gossip Cop reached out to several trusted Pitt and Jolie sources to confirm the latest claim, and one Pitt insider said the so-called meeting "never happened."
