After some doubts about the continuation of "Narcos" Season 4, the show will return to Netflix. The crime drama will hit the reset button and will start with a new set of lead stars and DEA Agents.

Although "Narcos" Season 4 will return without Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal), Michael Peña and Diego Luna will come to lead the Netflix series, per OtakuKart. So a new DEA Agent will come to investigate the dirty drug war in Mexico. Of course, a new villain will also emerge after the Cali Cartel got busted in the previous season.

"Narcos" Season 4 will explore Mexico, the origins of the drug war, and the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s. Hence, fans will not see the usual settings of Colombia this time around. In the newly revealed trailer, it teased a "new country, new cartel, and new 'Narcos,'" will come.

The word, "Begin," appeared, and then Luna and Peña are introduced in a bloody setting. From here, the nonstop cat-mouse chase emerged along with killings, blasting, and more emerged that will surely be seen in "Narcos" Season 4.

To recall, in the previous season finale, Javier managed to put four Cali godfathers in jail. However, these people were just a slice of the cake. The true depths of Colombia's corruption got revealed, and he finally learned the truth that would get explored in "Narcos" Season 4.

Javier discovered the four Cali had bought the Colombian government and funneled money into President Ernesto Samper's campaign. When asked if he would travel to Mexico to continue the war on drugs, he resigned and returned home to Texas instead. So Javier would not be part of "Narcos" Season 4.

Javier also said, "I've done enough. I'm through," when his father also asked if he would head to Mexico. The television series' showrunner Eric Newman said fans should believe Javier's final words in the previous season. He confirmed Javier would not return to "Narcos" Season 4.

"What's tragic about it is that you're losing truly one of the good guys," he said, per Express.co.uk. The previous season ended with a scene in the Rio Grande, a subtle introduction of the show's move to Mexico. "Narcos" Season 4 would begin with Kiki Camarena (Michael) moving with his wife and son to Guadalajara. New events will then unfold, and the story will kick off.

"Narcos" Season 4 will be out on November 16 with another set of 10 new episodes on Netflix.
