Brown noticed a lot of people gave her friendship with Drake a different meaning. As Drake is already 31-years-old and she is only 14-years-old, fans saw their bond in a wrong way.

"Why u [sic] gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U [sic] guys are weird... for real," Brown wrote in a text post on her Instagram story," per Life & Style Magazine. The young actress went on to say she feels lucky she has people in the business that make an effort to help her career blossom and give them their guidance and wisdom.

Brown went on to say she is very blessed to have these people in her life. Even though she is a public figure, the "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" star told everyone no one has the right to choose who will the be people in her life for her.

"It's nice to have people who understand what I do," she said. Brown then asked everyone to talk about the real problems in this world instead of her friendships, especially with Drake.

In another post, Brown also gave her greatest gratitude to her supporters. She thanked everyone a lot for continuously supporting her and sent her love wherever they are in the world.

To recall, in an interview with Access Hollywood, Brown cannot help but gush over her friendship with Drake on the Emmys red carpet. "Aww, I love him," she said. The Netflix star went on to say she first met the Canadian rapper in Australia and described him as "fantastic, a great friend, and a role model."

Brown also revealed they are textmates. At the time of the interview, she said Drake texted her with, "I miss you so much," to which she replied, "I miss you more." When the interview further asked what kind of text messages they share, she said it is about boys. He also usually gives her pieces of advice about her love life.

"He's great, he's wonderful, I love him," she said. Brown also revealed she is coming to see his performance in Atlanta. "I'm so excited," she added.

It is not the first time Drake receives criticism for having a relationship with younger women. Aside from Brown, the "In My Feelings" hitmaker gets criticized for his alleged relationship with the 18-year-old model Bella Harris, Vibe reported.
