Big Bang's Seungri appeared on the first episode of Chuseok variety show "I Will Win You Over with My Channel," wherein he was asked how YG Entertainment is better than SM Entertainment.
On September 25, SBS aired the first episode of the variety show "I Will Win You Over With My Channel," which follows Yang Se Hyung, Kang Ho Dong, and actress Lee Young Ae in their competition for getting more subscribers while making their content channels.
Kang Ho Dong introduced his channel, "Kang Ho Dong's Petty Competition," wherein he visited Seungri's home for his first broadcast of the "petty competition." According to Soompi, he went to Seungri as he is the biggest winner in Korea, in which his name even means "victory."
"In the history of idols, I have the biggest will to survive, like a cockroach. I never get stepped on, and I can survive in any situation. That's the kind of survivability I have. I'm someone who was almost eliminated from BIGBANG and came back in the revival round," Seungri replied.
He also added, "[G-Dragon] once was asked in a magazine interview what he's most scared of, and he said, 'That Seungri rises above me.' Even GD is afraid of my survivability."
Then, Kang Ho Dong started asking Seungri a series of questions and name three reasons why YG Entertainment is better than SM Entertainment.
At first, he could not give an immediate answer and only said, "I have to say three things? I don't know if there will be that many."
But then, his first reason why YG is better than SM was that Yang Hyun Suk is smart.
"Our hwaejangnim is smart," he said.
Kang Ho Dong, who is part of SM C&C fired back, "Is [Lee Soo Man] not smart?"
Seungri then answered YG is making great music, but Kang Ho Dong retorted again, "We are able to make good music too."
Seungri just gave up, and jokingly said"Let's move to SM! But only if I can be the leader. Honestly, I'm tired of being the youngest! I want to win everything!" He brought laughter as he quickly concluded "That's just how I feel. My forever leader G-Dragon, I love you."
Meanwhile, he also talked about how he couldn't take his eyes off of Lee Young Ae when he ran into her.
"I have run into Lee Young Ae in the airport before. She was with her husband but I found myself looking at only her. I said hi to them but I don't remember her husband. I just kept looking at Lee Young Ae," he said.
