A lot of people thought Steven's adventure had ended in the previous season. However, "Steven Universe" Season 6 got confirmed, and fans are about to see their favorite character to continue his journey. There will even be a "Steven Universe" movie.
After Steven managed to stop the Diamonds to attack the Earth in the previous season finale, the new season would return to the said planet. "Steven Universe" Season 6 Episode 1, titled "Legs from Here to the Homeworld," would feature the lead character's visit to Earth, per OtakuKart.
At the recent San Diego Comic-Con, the animated series creator Rebecca Sugar and other people behind the show gave a glimpse of the White Diamond's eyes. In "Steven Universe" Season 6, the Homeworld Gem is about to see the fallout of their action while they hang on onto Earth.
However, fans have a lot of questions. Viewers want to know when they will see White Diamond. Also, they are intrigued if Lars and other off-color Gems still fight outside the space. Also in "Steven Universe" Season 6, Bismuth will be a part of the main team.
To know more about "Steven Universe" Season 6's storyline, here is its official synopsis. "5000 years after a great war of Gems, gemstone-like beings from a planet called Homeworld, we meet Steven, a half boy half gem who lives with the "Crystal Gems" Garnet, Amythest, and Pearl, who live on earth after they rebelled against Homeworld," it read. "The story follows Steven's adventures, whether he is fighting monsters or learning to control his own powers."
Meanwhile, the publication noted Sugar and Cartoon Network have yet to reveal "Steven Universe" Season 6's official release date. The animated series creator has a lot on her plate right now, so it might take a little while before fans would see Steven back to the small screen.
Before "Steven Universe" Season 6 is released, there will be a movie about Steven coming up on Cartoon Network. So aside from the series, Sugar is also busy doing the film.
To prove that "Steven Universe" Season 6 will take more time before it hits the TV screens, it took a long while before its previous season aired last year. So it may be safe to assume the show will be out in 2019. Fans have to wait a little more and wait for Sugar and Cartoon Network's confirmation about the animated series' release date.
