Kendal Jenner reportedly got hurt when Naomi Campbell threw shade at her when the latter recently graced "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." The 48-year-old iconic supermodel went savage when she chose not to answer a question about the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star.
A viewer called to ask Campbell about her thoughts on Jenner being the highest-paid model in the world, per E! News. It is in spite of the 22-year-old young model's claims that she could "cherry-pick" the shows she wanted to do, and could never walk 30 runway shows in one season.
"Next question," Campbell's only response. The "Empire" star's comment was so savage the audience was in awe. Her serious look and deafening silence even made Cuba Gooding Jr., who was also in "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" at the time, got surprised.
However, according to Hollywood Life, Campbell's comment made Jenner felt bullied. She felt hurt of her shade. "Kendall is sensitive, she has always looked up to Naomi Campbell so having her be so unsupportive is disappointing and really hurts," a source said.
The insider continued to say Jenner works hard to get her job done, and it makes her feel Campbell has no idea about her work ethic. So she finds the senior model a "bit of a bully" and "out of touch" with the new generation of young models. She hopes Campbell can give more love and stay optimistic, instead of spreading negative energy.
In spite of what happened, Jenner gets the support of another OG supermodel, Cindy Crawford. The 52-year-old actress reportedly adores the television personality. She also finds the young model sweet and encouraging.
Crawford and Campbell are close friends, so the source said she could be a mediator between her friend and Jenner. Although Kris and Caitlyn Jenner's daughter would love that idea, she would never ask Crawford to intervene.
To recall, Jenner got named as the world's highest-paid model after earning a whopping $22 million in 2017. But she received a great backlash when she talked about her career in Love magazine.
Jenner revealed she had been "super selective" on what shows she would do. She even compared herself to other models that would do 30 shows in a season. She said she was never like them as she had a "million jobs" to do. She later apologized and said her comments got misunderstood and misrepresented.
