Ben Affleck is not planning to marry Shauna Sexton while he was in rehab, despite the claim of the latest report.
One of the latest reports of National Enquirer claims Affleck is "planning to wed" Sexton while he's "in rehab." The tabloid asserted the "46-year-old father of three is totally besotted with the busty brunette, despite his ongoing battle with booze, and now buds are buzzing he's got marriage on the mind."
"Ben's head over heels in love with Shauna and sees her as definite marriage material," said the so-called "source" of the magazine. "He's anxious to hurry up and get his divorce finalized so he can marry her and they can start the rest of their lives together."
Although Affleck and Sexton weren't together for a while, the untraceable insider continues saying, "Ben's beyond starry-eyed about Shauna and insists there's nothing wrong with acting on his instincts." Additionally, the actor reportedly wants Sexton to be "Mrs. Affleck as soon as possible."
According to Gossip Cop, the claim seemed to be fabricated as Affleck is technically still married to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. One of the reasons why they weren't officially divorced until now is because Garner was still concerned about how it would affect Affleck's sobriety
They filed the papers over a year ago, but last month, the judge threatened them their divorce would be dismissed if they will not finalize it soon. Garner wants Affleck to prioritize his health first and not feel the added pressure of the divorce.
Although it's true that the actor is now seeing Sexton following his breakup with Lindsay Shookus, it doesn't necessarily mean he will be marrying the Playboy model while he was in the rehab. A rep for Affleck just laughed off the latest claim of the publication.
Just a few months ago, National Enquirer also claimed Garner "blocked" the wedding of Affleck and "pregnant" Shookus. The outlet maintained at that time that Garner "refuses to sign her divorce papers," thereby preventing Affleck from tying the knot with Shookus, "who's rumored to be pregnant." But then, a rep for the actor said there was "no truth" to the claim and there wasn't.
Earlier of this month, the same outlet also reported Garner performed an "exorcism" on Affleck before he went to rehab, and described the actress as "saintly" and "bible-toting." But this was similarly false as well. And now, as per Gossip Cop, the new claim about Affleck marrying Sexton in the rehab is nothing more than fiction.
