A new report claims Jessica Simpsons is expecting to have twins, particularly two baby girls. But, this was proved to be a made-up story and Simpson is only carrying one baby.

The cover of Life & Style Magazine exclaims, "Jessica Twins!" and further maintains on the front page, "She's having two girls!" Then, an alleged source of the publication asserted, "Pals say two baby girls are on the way" for Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson.

"Jessica isn't just eating for two, she's eating for three," the unknown tipster continues. "The word among friends is that Jessica is four and a half months pregnant with twin girls."

To make the story believable, the insider said the "first big hint" that Simpson's expecting "twin girls" was when her kids, Maxwell and Ace, helped her with the pregnancy announcement and gender reveal. Both of her children "held on to not one but two balloons," so the unnamed source assumed Simpson is likely pregnant with two babies.

But of course, as a good parent, she just wanted to make sure each child had a balloon of their own for the announcement.

In fact, Simpson posted an Instagram photo at that moment, which proved that she's only having one baby girl. Her second further confirmed that she's not really having twins, since her caption reads, "This little baby girl will make us a family of five."

Although the tabloid maintains the story is true, Simpson herself said "this little baby girl," not girls, will make them a "family of five," not six.

Moreover, she posted another Instagram photo after a trip to New York two weeks ago, wherein she's cradling her belly, with the caption, "Baby Girl and I are saying Bye Bye Big Apple." Once again, she said "baby girl," not "baby girls."

According to Gossip Cop, a spokesperson for Simpson further confirmed she is not pregnant with twins and Life & Style Magazine didn't fact-check its story, which makes it entirely false. Regardless, it has already been proved by Simpson and her rep that she's only expecting one baby girl.
