It seems the custody war between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is far from over. Despite reports that the former couple is in a cease-fire, a source reveals that they are nowhere near making up.

"There is no truce," the source says. "Angie is extremely hard to deal with, period. She wants what she wants, and no one is going to tell her otherwise."

According to Hollywood Life, since Angelina Jolie changed her counsel to Samantha Bley DeJean in September, the fight for their six children - Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and Knox and Vivienne, 10 - has only intensified. "Angie is once again doing things that are interfering with Brad's custodial time with the children," the supposed tipster says. "There have been several occasions in recent weeks in which the kids have been late, with Brad unable to reach anyone for answers."

The 43-year-old actress has even started making indirect digs at Brad Pitt, from whom she split in 2016 after 12 years of being together. "I think it is not said enough how much we need the men in our lives to be strong and capable and the best they can be," she recently said when asked about feminism.

A source close to Angelina Jolie has previously said none of these allegations are true. "Angelina remains focused on healing her family," the family friend told US Weekly in August. "She continues to support the reconciliation of the children with Brad."

Now, Brad Pitt, 54, is continuing to take the high road - and quietly proving he is capable of being the father the kids need. "He's hopeful he'll have joint custody of the children," an insider told the publication in September. "All Brad wants is to be a present dad and co-parent with Angelina."

If Angelina Jolie really has been keeping Brad Pitt from their kids, it is no wonder he has called the past few years "a living hell."

The tipster added, "Brad couldn't care less about Angelina supposedly missing him, or regretting filing for divorce. That relationship is well and truly over as far as he's concerned, and Brad has zero desire to revisit it, and give it a second shot. The past couple of years have been a living hell for Brad, and it's made him question if he ever actually, truly, knew the real Angelina, because he never imagined that the woman he fell in love with and married could behave in the way she has toward him."
