Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian stood the test of time despite the cheating scandal they had been through. But the 27-year-old sportsman is worried that his relationship with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" star would never be the same again.
Tristan is trying his best to have Khloe's forgiveness after his cheating scandal. The professional basketball player is hoping to gain his partner's trust again. However, she cannot help but be worried that things will never be the same between them.
"Tristan does worry sometimes that things will never totally be right with Khloe ever again-that he's broken the trust and it will never fully be repaired," a source told Hollywood Life. "They go through periods where everything is great, and he thinks they are totally back on track again, but then something triggers Khloe."
The insider added there are times when Khloe and Tristan have to go back from the start. The Cleveland Cavaliers player feels lost as he does not know what to do anymore. He already apologized to the 34-year-old star a thousand times and even promised her he would not do those things again. But it seems like she does not fully forgive him yet.
Their relationship's stand might have a connection with Khloe's decision to cancel their move to Cleveland with their five-month-old daughter, True. The mother-and-daughter are supposed to stay with Tristan as the new NBA season is about to start.
Khloe also often shares cryptic messages on her social media accounts that seem to be about Tristan. So if Lamar Odom's former spouse has a hard time to forgive him, the NBA star wants to know the real deal. "If she isn't able to forgive him fully then he kind of wishes she would just say that," the source continued to say.
To recall, Khloe and Tristan welcomed their first child on April 12, two days after his cheating allegation surfaced. Despite the rumors that he cheated on her throughout her pregnancy, the socialite stood by his side and remained to be together.
Although Khloe seemed glad things are going well between them, a source revealed she would never forget what he did, per People. She could "forgive him and move on," but she would always remember what happened.
The insider continued to say the whole Kardashian clan is there to support her, but they wanted to be sure that he would never cheat on her again. They wanted Tristan's commitment to Khloe, so their relationship would work.
