After their latest second split, Nikki Bella and John Cena were once again spotted together in Australia on Saturday, October 6. So the rumors emerged that the former WWE dream team is now back together and probably working things out.
Bella and Cena seemed to be back on each other's arms as they walked in a Melbourne mall together. Would the wedding push through?
According to Hollywood Life, Bella and Cena were in Australia to attend the WWE SuperShow Down Live Event in the country over the weekend. So probably the two were only being civil to each other for the old time's sake.
"Nikki will always hold a special place in her heart for John, but she no longer has any romantic feelings towards him," a source told the publication. "John played such an important role in her life and it's been long enough since their breakup that they can enjoy spending time together occasionally, but only as friends."
The insider added Bella and Cena indeed had a "difficult breakup," but it did not mean that they had "bad feelings" for each other. In fact, they wanted nothing but the best for one another.
Things are definitely not easy for the two, but the source cleared that they never hook up. Bella and Cena are both matured to realize that things might not work out for them in the long run as they wanted different things. But she still enjoys his company and misses him being around.
To recall, Bella and Cena officially called off their engagement in July after six years of relationship. They had two previous breakups. However, the two did not call it quits because of bad chemistry.
Cena proposed to Bella during the WrestleMania 33 in Orlando last year. They were supposed to get married on May 5, but that never happened, The Sun reported.
To save their on-off relationship, Cena even promised Bella that he was willing to undergo surgery to undo his vasectomy and give her the family she wanted. But things did not work out as fine.
Bella and Cena ended their relationship in good terms and released an official statement together. They said they would "continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another."
However, in an interview with E! News, Bella revealed she is back on the dating scene. Although she finds this activity boring, she is also having a lot of fun doing it.
