Brad Pitt's six kids are "trapped" like "prisoners" in Angelina Jolie's home, according to the latest cover of one of this week's tabloids. This claim, however, was corrected and is said to be completely baseless.
Pitt and Jolie have been in a custody battle over their children for a while now, and OK! Magazine claims this situation is "so much worse than anyone knows." A so-called source of the magazine said, "Angelina is determined to come out of this on top, and that means masterminding a new war against Brad to make sure the kids stay with her."
The source further contends that although Jolie is "spoiling [the kids] with new toys and fun days out," the situation behind closed doors is very different.
"Angelina has a team of six nannies, four security guards, and 14 lawyers indirectly tasked with keeping the kids away from Brad," the alleged insider said and added, "The word is she has tight security to make sure they don't try to run away. The nannies keep the kids entertained, but also report back to Angelina if they ask about their dad."
Pitt, on the other hand, is allegedly scared that Jolie "could be poisoning [the kids] with lies about their father." Despite a judge recently ruled it is important for the children to have a relationship with Pitt, that wouldn't stop Jolie "from trying to turn them against their dad.
According to Gossip Cop, although the custody battle of Pitt and Jolie has been complicated sometimes, the claim of the tabloid is still inaccurate. The actress isn't trying to trap their kids like prisoners in her home, nor trying to convince them their father is some sort of villain. A source close to the situation also said the magazine's claim is untrue.
Meanwhile, People magazine previously reported Jolie is focused on healing her family and "continues to support the reconciliation of the children with Brad." In addition, E! News also noted the actress remains committed to helping the kids heal with Pitt.
Even though there are issues that need to be worked out in terms of a custody arrangement, it does not necessarily mean Jolie is making a scheme to turn the children against their father.
OK! Magazine has been making narratives regarding the current situation of the estranged spouses. Just earlier of this year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for claiming Jolie and Pitt were calling off their divorce and renewing their vows. But, a rep for Pitt confirmed the two never reunited. Therefore, the latest claim of the outlet is inaccurate as well.
