This comes more than two months after Ashley Tisdale first announced her return to music, some nine years after the release of her second studio album "Guilty Pleasure." She also revealed what fans could expect from her forthcoming album titled "Symptoms."

"It's definitely pop, but it's more pop-electro versus pop/rock or straight pop," Ashley Tisdale said in an interview with AOL. "It's really upbeat. The whole album is upbeat. Fun tracks. I know for sure it's the most authentic album I've ever done. Actually, it's the most authentic thing I've ever done in my career. It's very personal," she added.

Ashley Tisdale went on to say that she has co-written every song on the much-awaited album. Despite its upbeat approach, the lyrics of her new material will address her struggles with anxiety and depression.

"I also am so specific on the sound and what the album stands for, which is an upbeat album, but it has a dark undertone of anxiety and depression," Ashley Tisdale explained. "I think it's something that the world needs right now. It happened so fast and it came together so fast that I think the universe just made it happen."

Once "Symptoms" is released, fans can expect Ashley Tisdale go on a road tour to further promote her new album. However, it is still in early talks, and nothing is set in stone yet as of press time.

In other news, the "High School Musical" actress has recently revealed the types of self-care she does to control her anxiety. In an interview with Health, she said she makes sure to exercise five times a week as it helps her stay really strong and less stressed.

She also tries her best not to have too much caffeine and meditates daily, at least 10 minutes each morning. She explained: "I'm a huge coffee lover, but it actually makes me more anxious, so I just do one cup and meditation."
