The long wait is almost over. The fourth season of "Outlander" will premiere this November and ahead of its return, Irish actress Caitriona Balfe teased what fans can expect from the series.
In the fourth season of "Outlander," Claire Beauchamp Randall/Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) and James "Jamie" MacKenzie Fraser (Sam Heughan) try to make a home for themselves in colonial America.
While Claire Beauchamp Randall/Fraser and James "Jamie" MacKenzie Fraser might disagree from time to time and go through ups and downs in their romance, Caitriona Balfe assured fans that their love and loyalty to each other is stable.
"You have to get to a certain point in a relationship where there's no cliffhangers anymore," Caitriona Balfe said during "Outlander's" panel interview at this year's New York Comic Con, as quoted by Elle Magazine. "You can disagree, you can have cycles where you're not always perfectly in sync, but there's no more cliffhangers with Jamie and Claire in terms of their love and devotion to each other," she added.

In addition to that, the fourth season of "Outlander" will see James "Jamie" MacKenzie Fraser finally meeting her daughter, Brianna Ellen Randall Fraser MacKenzie (Sophie Skelton), for the very first time.
Brianna Ellen Randall Fraser MacKenzie will reportedly go through the stones and travels back in time. However, her journey through time comes a moment in which pirate and smuggler, Stephen Bonnet (Edward John "Ed" Speleers), sexually abused her.
"We have a history of it with the show itself [so the question becomes] how much of this material is in the show when do we do it, when do we decide not to do it and why are we making that choice," "Outlander" executive producer/showrunner Ron D. Moore told The Hollywood Reporter. "You have to approach it on a case-by-case basis and this is obviously a big story point so it wasn't really an option not to do it."
Showrunner Ron D. Moore went on to explain: "It's more a question of how you're going to do it and what it meant to that story in how you presented it." The fourth season of "Outlander" will premiere on Nov. 4 on Starz. While waiting, check out the trailer below:
