Selena Gomez made headlines recently after experiencing an "emotional breakdown" at a hospital. Now, reports say that the singer's friends are offering support, as she continues to seek mental health treatment.

According to Seventeen, Selena Gomez was brought to the hospital after suffering from the aforementioned breakdown. Although details about her current state remain unknown, she appears to be seeking treatment at a mental health facility.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Selena Gomez got hospitalized. Recently, she needed medical treatment twice after experiencing a low white blood count. In her second visit, she reportedly suffered an "emotional breakdown," prompting her to seek treatment.

A source close to the singer was quoted as saying, "She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point."

In the wake of Selena Gomez's "emotional breakdown," her friends started showing support. Cosmopolitan reports Cardi B sending the "It Ain't Me" singer some love via Instagram stories. Cardi and Selena collaborated on the song "Taki Taki." The "Bodak Yellow" rapper said, "You are amazing."

DJ Snake (who is also the frontman on the said song), on the other hand, sent his support for Selena Gomez. "Get well soon Queen, prayers are sending," he said on Instagram.

TMZ, the publication that first reported the Selena Gomez incident, the American singer-songwriter has been hospitalized twice in the past two weeks. Her friends mentioned about her being "despondent and emotional" over her alarmingly low white blood cell count. It makes sense, though, especially since she received the news in the wake of her kidney transplant.

Selena Gomez was taken to Cedars-Sinai, where she stayed for a couple of days before being released.  Unfortunately, late last week, Justin Bieber's former girlfriend had to be re-admitted, with the low white cell count being the same issue. Her visit to the hospital, however, resulted in an anxiety attack.

Selena Gomez did not only freak out, but she also had "a meltdown." This resulted in her tearing the IV lines out of her arm. She is currently undergoing DBT, the same treatment she received in the past. It is an evidence-based psychotherapy specifically designed to help individuals suffering from borderline personality disorder.

Just a few days ago, Selena Gomez, who is a Disney veteran, told her fans in an hour-long Instagram LIVE that she has been dealing "depression and anxiety" for years.
