The 2019 Hyundai Kona Electric is reportedly competing with Tesla Model 3, Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Bolt EV, and Hyundai Ioniq EV.

According to Cars.com, the newly introduce vehicle looks like Kona SUV. It is with smoother snout and the majority of the design remains the same for the subcompact suvie of Hyundai despite the switch to electric vehicle power-train. As for the drive-train, here are the following features:

  • 64-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery packs that sends power to the front wheels

The dealership will hit on early 2019. According to the earlier mentioned source, the sales will start on California before they migrate to other states such as Connecticut, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
