There is no doubt that fans are looking forward to "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3. When the previous season ended, the community was hoping to see another installment. Here is the latest about the highly anticipated season.

According to EconoTimes, there has yet to be an official announcement made for "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3. At first, it was thought that production has already started and the new season was just awaiting a release date. This is not the case.

"Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 remains under wraps. It is even unclear whether or not the new season would come, let alone produce.

When news about "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 surfaced on its subreddit, it only made the matter worse. Fans were, after all, desperate and eager for the new installment. It turns out that the confusion was due to Netflix itself.

Many thought that "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 will be released and showed on Netflix. It is not actually. The online streaming service just happened to tag the second season as the third one. Meaning, there is no truth about the supposed season coming soon.

Otakukart reports that "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 will remain uncertain, but it does not mean there is no possibility of it being released. The publication further notes that the last episode of the show adapted the manga's chapter 143.

Now, the manga version of the show offers a total of 280 chapters. In other words, it is very likely for it to follow the remaining chapters, which is exactly what it has been doing since one. This also means that "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 will soon become a reality.

Still, other reports insist that the possibility of having the "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3 largely depends on A-1 Pictures' decision to move forward with the follow-up installment. Sure, the show has a large fan base; hence, there is every season for the company to pursue it. The only catch, however, is that the production is reportedly hands-tied with all of its other ongoing shows, two of which are "Fairy Tail" and "Sword Art Online: Alicization."

The studio has also zipped its mouth when it comes to the official revelation of "Seven Deadly Sins" Season 3. If it plans to focus all resources on the aforementioned shows and have them released later this year, then they could probably start producing the third season in 2019. Again, it is best for fans to take this with a grain of salt.
