Life & Style magazine claims Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are "secretly engaged" as he recently proposed to the singer with a vintage engagement ring. However, Gossip Cop corrected this report, which is not true.
Still, the publication cited a so-called source saying Alwyn becomes an old-school guy by asking Swift's parents first before asking her to marry him. The actor and the singer allegedly planning their wedding now, and Swift wants to have her version of "royal wedding," which is similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But, the tabloid didn't provide more details about the supposed secret engagement and where the proposal happened, though the tipster theorized it would likely happen in Alwyn's hometown of England.
Allegedly, Swift's ideal ceremony should be held in an old church, and there's an organ playing while she was walking down the aisle wearing a "white gown with a long train." The untraceable insider continues saying, "Taylor wants to feel and look like a princess and is willing to splash out a lot of cash to achieve her goal."
The publication further contends Swift will choose 12 members of her girl squad to be her bridesmaid, and Selena Gomez is said to be one of them. After the wedding, the source added, Alwyn and Swift will be heading for a "romantic honeymoon" as they both wanted to have a baby and start a family immediately before they turn 30.
"The wedding is going to be amazing," the tipster concluded.
According to Gossip Cop, the entire claim of the tabloid isn't true at all, and the so-called source of the outlet is nonexistent because a real source knows when and where the supposed proposal occurred. The outlet never provides details about the engagement and upcoming wedding of Swift and Alwyn, and only suggests the two are planning to start their own family.
Meanwhile, a source close to Swift confirmed to Gossip Cop that the claim of the tabloid is completely false. Even though the relationship between Swift and Alwyn is becoming more serious, it's not true that they were secretly engaged and currently planning for their wedding.
It's also worth noting that Life & Style magazine was busted back in June for claiming the actor and the singer will be having their wedding in August, but that month has already passed, and a supposed wedding never happened. That alleged "summer wedding" wasn't even mentioned on this latest claim. Hence, the tabloid doesn't have insights about Swift and Alwyn's relationship.
