The upcoming tvN drama of Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum, "Encounter," unveils the first glimpse of the actress where she looks elegant but lonely. The new photos showed the actress remained poised, while her eyes fixed on the ground although chaos around her erupted.

The new drama "Encounter" (formerly "Boyfriend") revealed its first stills of Song Hye Kyo on October 16, where she will be playing the role of Cha Soo Hyun. She's the ex-daughter-in-law of a wealthy family and unhappy daughter of a prominent politician, Cha Soo Hyun has a high-profile life and very familiar with the attention of the public and the press.

Although Cha Soo Hyun has a glamorous life as she's the head of the hotel, her melancholic aura can be noticed as she travels alone. In the photos, Song Hye Kyo's character is silently reading a book, and she's staring out the window of the car, and loneliness is indeed visible although she remained beautiful and elegant.

"From the very first shoot, Song Hye Kyo instantly captured the attention of the entire crew with her deeply emotional acting and her remarkable aura," said the producers of "Encounter." They added that they wanted to make the hearts of viewers flutter when the love story unfolds after Cha Soo Hyun, who is like a bird trapped in a cage, meets pure-hearted Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum).

"We ask that you show a lot of interest and anticipation for 'Encounter,' which will knock on viewers' living room doors this November," the producers also said.

According to Soompi, "Encounter" will revolve around the love story of Cha Soo Hyun, where she has everything but never lead her life on her own, and Kim Jin Hyuk, a young, innocent and sweet man who seems to have nothing but find happiness and contentment in the small things. Their incidental meeting will lead them to an unexpected romance that will turn their lives upside down.

Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum are real-life friends, and the cast and crew of the drama said the two had a lot of chemistry. Director Park Shin Woo is particularly impressed with the cast, and he thinks he did a good job for choosing the right characters. When "Encounter" is over, he noted it would be another drama he'll be proud of.

Meanwhile, a source from tvN confirmed on October 16 that "Encounter" is scheduled every Wednesday-Thursday, and will be airing on November 28.
