A new report claims Angelina Jolie and her six kids are planning to live in France amid her custody battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt. However, this story has been debunked and proved to be fabricated.
Jolie and Pitt's six kids have been living with their mother in Los Angeles, but a so-called source of National Enquirer claims the actress wanted to leave the US and move to France because she wants Pitt to have a hard time seeing their children. The tabloid added Pitt felt he was "completely blinded," and their custody battle will have conflicts.
The alleged tipster asserted Jolie and her kids will be traveling to French estate, Chateau Miraval, and will be living full-time in there. The untraceable insider also believed Jolie is making this tactic to increase divorce settlement from the actor.
"Permanently uprooting the kids to a geographically undesirable spot gives her leverage - with Angie pressuring Brad into offering her more money to maintain an L.A. residence," continues the unidentifiable source and added it will be a "nightmare" for Pitt.
But according to Gossip Cop, the claim of the tabloid is false and fabricated. First, a judge back in June said Jolie should allow Pitt to have more time with their kids as "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them." The court documents revealed that if ever Jolie wouldn't comply with the term and ruling, it will result in "primary physical custody to Pitt." Hence, the actress will not be risking the custody of their kids and defy the court order by moving to France.
Just this week, it was also reported that Jolie and Pitt are currently in the process of child custody evaluation so they can finalize the custody arrangement. The evaluator will be interviewing the kids, the parents, extended family members, and caregivers, to determine the custody plan. The court will then set a permanent custody order as soon as the evaluation is complete. So, it's a total nonsense if Jolie is planning to move to France with their kids amid this process, as doing this might lead to losing the custody.
And regardless, a source close to Jolie told Gossip Cop that the outlet's claim is "crazy" and "not true." National Enquirer has also been making false reports regarding Jolie and Pitt's custody battle. For instance, the tabloid was busted last month for claiming Pitt won custody battle of the children, but just like this latest report, that claim was fabricated as well.
