Congratulations to BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys! The seven-member South Korean boy band took home two awards at BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards last Sunday.
On Oct. 21, Sunday, British radio station BBC Radio 1 gathered the biggest names in the music industry as it announced winners of the annual Teen Awards at Wembley Arena. It was hosted by Mollie King, Maya Jama, and Greg James.
There, BTS - RM, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga and V - took home the Best International Group Award amidst stiff competition from fellow nominees, Panic! At The Disco, 5 Seconds of Summer, The Carters and The Chainsmokers. The K-pop group also won the Social Media Star Award.
BTS was not present at the ceremony to personally accept the said awards. Instead, the seven members shared an acceptance speech through a video link that was broadcasted to the audience.

Indeed, BTS continue with their worldwide domination as they prepare for the much-awaited Asia leg of their "BTS World Tour: Love Yourself," which will kick off on Nov. 13 at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. They will also hold similar shows in Taiwan, Singapore, Bangkok, and Thailand.
BTS will also make their cinematic debut with the release of "Burn the Stage: The Movie" on Nov. 15. The said movie, directed by Park Jun Soo and produced by Big Hit Entertainment / Camp Entertainment, will feature footage from group's live dates, behind-the-scenes footage and brand-new one-on-one interview with the members.
