In a tell-all interview on "The Alec Baldwin Show" on Sunday, October 21, Kim Kardashian bravely talked about her marriage with Kanye West. Despite the many rumors that they are divorcing, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed how she makes their marriage work and the things she did to make it lasts.
Kim Kardashian admitted to Alec Baldwin that she gave up a lot of herself when she married Kanye West in 2014. Four years into the marriage, the mother-of-three has no regrets and love the bond they have.
"I think being with a man like Kanye, you have to learn how to be a little bit not so independent," Kim Kardashian said about being with her husband, Kanye West, via Hollywood Life. "I've always been so independent and working, and [had a] schedule, and when you get married and have a husband with a career and kids, your independence...you have to let it go."
Kim Kardashian also talked about her differences with Kanye West. The 38-year-old star told Alec Baldwin that they also differ in opinions, but they respect each other to make things work out. The reality star said that she lets the 41-year-old rapper be him and who he wants to be. She also lets him have his views and opinions, although it is different from hers.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been under fire when the latter showed his support to the U.S. President Donald Trump. Although the television personality finds his political activity "exhausting," she is still doing her best to accept her husband's moves.
Kim Kardashian said that her upbringing helped her to be more open-minded, per People. It all came up from her stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner, who used to be a conservative until Donald Trump revealed his stand about LGBTQ. Kris Jenner's daughter explained that it is okay to have different views as it all depends on the person's open-mindedness. All they have to do is talk and be open about it.
It is the same thing Kim Kardashian does with her husband. If she doesn't know about something political, she will have a conversation with Kanye West, and they will privately talk about it.
Bustle added that Kanye West had influenced Kim Kardashian to be a more private person. The Yeezy fashion designer works publicly, but his personal life is very private. Although Kylie Jenner's sister finds it hard to find a place where no one can notice them, she said that she is just opting to have privacy every time they go out.
