The world's most popular K-pop band BTS is expected to have a concert at the National Stadium on January 19 next year. Interestingly, just five days before the tickets go on sale, fans have already started gathering at different booths. This goes to show just how intense ticket sales would be in the next few days or so.

According to Straits Times, fans of BTS are reportedly lining up at various box-office booths located outside of the Kallang Wave Mall. Obviously, the ARMYs (name of the fans' group) do not want to miss out the sale. They are all hoping to see the K-pop group's live performance.

At the said mall, there were around 10 fans reportedly sitting near booths. Others were already gathering up in nearby areas. And despite the heat, they never bothered to move and hoped to get tickets for the upcoming BTS concert.

One of the fans named Toh Sohyee said that she purposely arrived at around 9 am, so she can be early for the queue. The BTS fan stated that she planned to stay there until this weekend, particularly during the day that the tickets for the concert get available. It is expected to go on sale from 10 am this Saturday.

Tickets for the upcoming BTS concert can also be bought online on the same day. This can be done via Sports Hub's ticketing hotline. Fans can also go via The Star Performing Arts Centre box office, as well as outlets such as SingPost and Scotts Square. Tickets will also be made available a day later after Sunday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium's box office, Flipboard reports.

BTS is without a doubt the world's biggest and most successful K-pop group right now. The group has been an icon in South Korea's music scene. However, its meteoric rise only happened a few years earlier. Its popularity in the West definitely helped its success. The group has become so big it earned the opportunity to speak at the United Nations during UNICEF's recent campaign. More importantly, the group was featured on the latest cover of the titular Time Magazine.

During their concert at the Citi Field in New York, which had been their first-ever stadium show, tickets of more than 40,000 were sold quickly. It just took 20 minutes for BTS to make the concert sold out.

The septet boy band BTS is known for many of its hit songs, such as "DNA," "Fake Love," and "Mic Drop," among many tunes. The boy group is expected to return to Singapore as part of their Love Yourself World Tour.
