Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey are about to go head-to-head at the Raw Women's Championship on Sunday, October 28. As the two are busy promoting here and there, the UFC Champion turned WWE star claimed the 34-year-old professional wrestler only got famous because of John Cena, to which the latter replied.

"I've grown thick-skinned to it," Nikki Bella said in an interview with the New York Post about the claims against her, involving John Cena. "I just can't wait for the day it can stop and not every promo towards me brings up my ex and I think it will [stop]."

Nikki Bella doesn't want her fame to be associated with her ex-fiance. She is even looking forward to the day that John Cena's name will never get dragged to her issues. Although she thinks that day may never come, she hopes that it will still do so.

According to Hollywood Life, Ronda Rousey associated John Cena's name to Nikki Bella when she said that the only "knocked down" her opponent made was in John Cena's room. "And he eventually threw you out of that exact door," the 31-year-old mixed martial artist claimed on the Monday Night Raw last October 15.

Nikki Bella is hoping that the professional wrestling community will stop accusing women getting their success by sleeping with a man or with the help of a guy. John Cena's ex has been holding the longest Divas championship title in WWE history for 301 days, which she worked hard for.

And Nikki Bella was not the only one Ronda Rousey blasted. She even dragged her twin sister's name, Brie, by mentioning the names of their alleged men whom she accused that helped them.

Nikki Bella explained that they never wanted to be defined by their men or the relationships they had as every woman in the industry also has a relationship with another wrestler. She also cleared that she never used John Cena, although he indeed helped her just like everyone who is in a very special relationship. Talking about Ronda Rousey's accusations, she said she never felt bad about herself.

Fans, on the other hand, blasted Ronda Rousey because of her accusations against Nikki Bella, per Daily Star. They also claimed that women in the WWE world have been continuously stereotyped. However, she understands how the industry works, and she said that their personal lives are also used in wrestling storylines.

Nikki Bella has been in the WWE industry for 10 years. She had a six-year relationship with John Cena. They called off their engagement in April.
