Natalie Portman and her husband Benjamin Millepied are not living separate lives, despite the claim of a new report this week. This story has been corrected and proved to be fabricated and not true at all.
OK! Magazine claimed Millepied isn't supporting Portman's career and he has no plans to be her "plus-one" during Hollywood events. The so-called source of the outlet said the actress realized her husband's dedication to his own career and craft "takes precedence over hers."
Then, the tabloid added that even though Millepied always said to his wife it's her time to shine, the actress can't help but think he is only using that excuse to do what he wants instead, which makes her frustrated.
But, according to Gossip Cop, this claim is not true at all. First, just last week, Portman and Millepied went to the LA Dance Project's Annual Gala together. The couple looks very happy together while posing on the red carpet - there's no indication that they are living "separate lives" or heading for a breakup. In fact, one photo from the event shows Millepied kissed Portman at their table.
In addition, Us Weekly reported how Millepied gushed over his wife when he was asked regarding Portman's involvement in the #MeToo movement, he said: "Her work has been an inspiration." He added his wife has been very driven "to make the world a better place," and said that it's really "inspiring." He also shared that Portman was very "generous and considerate" because she always supports his career.
Just last month, Millepied also accompanied his wife during the premiere of her upcoming film Vox Lux at the Venice Film Festival. The two have been photographed having a good time while in town for the event. In addition, pictures from Daily Mail noted Portman and Millipied looked "smitten."
Therefore, there's no reason that for the two to live "separate lives" as it's obvious that they are supporting each other. A source close to Portman also confirmed to Gossip Cop that tabloid's claim is simply "not true," and the story is a "pure fiction."
It's also worth noting that Star magazine has been busted back in July 2016 for claiming the spouses were heading for a divorce since Portman was then spotted in London looking sad and she's not wearing her wedding ring. Yet, that alleged "divorce" didn't happen over the past two years, and the spouses are actually happy and still going strong until now.
