RM is the leader - and so-called "translator" - of the world's biggest boy band BTS. The group's outfit leader is reportedly making a huge global impact with his solo project. He recently released a new material, which took the whole world by storm.

According to the New Straits Times, the aforementioned BTS member released a new playlist called "Mono." Just moments after its release, it instantly took the number 1 spot on the iTunes Top Albums charts. The ranking covers around 88 countries and regions across the globe.

Interestingly, the leader of BTS reached the likes of Germany, Chile, Thailand, UK, Germany, Spain, and the US. With the monstrous release, this puts RM's success to a new record. He is believed to achieve a new milestone for a Korean artist with the most number 1's on the above-mentioned charts internationally.

In other words, RM managed to break even the record of his group BTS. The K-pop boy band set the previous tally with its record-breaking album called "Love Yourself: Answer," which was released on August 24 this year.

Mono, which was written and produced by the BTS leader himself, contains a total of seven songs. All of these are said to be self-produced. The record also sees him collaborating with other Korean and even international artists. This includes the likes of eAeon, HONNE, and Nell.

The highly celebrated release from the BTS leader was accompanied by an animated music video. It was produced specifically for the track titled "Forever Rain." Fans of RM, as well as the group, can look forward to the lyric videos - both for "Moonchild" and "Seoul" - from the musician himself in the next plausible future.

In related BTS news, Roman Kemp has spoken about the cancellation of Capital's interview with the titular boy group. He recently teased a possibility of a huge interview with the boys. Unfortunately, it did not push through, Digital Spy reports.

BTS was supposed to be chatting with Kemp on the Capital Breakfast, and it was intended for earlier this month. It turns out that the supposed interview was pulled from the scheduled at the very last minute.

The only catch, however, is that the cancellation took a huge backlash from the fans of BTS. Also known as ARMY, they scrutinized Kemper after news about the interview being canceled surfaced.

Kemp, who is lauded as one of the well-known DJs of today, called out BTS' collaboration with female rap artist Nicki Minaj "noise."
