K-pop superstar BTS hopes to encourage travelers around the world to visit South Korea's capital, Seoul, though their promotional videos on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The seven-member South Korean boy band filmed seven tourism commercials to be released on social media platforms - the first one has been shown on Monday morning on the official YouTube channel of Seoul.

In collaboration with the local government, these films will be broadcasted on television channels: tvN Asia Channel and KBS World. Since the members of BTS were honorary ambassadors for Seoul for the second successive year, the boy band filmed music video, as well as commercials. The music video, which was titled "With Seoul," immediately captured the fans wherein the official tourism website of Seoul crashed.

As per the South China Morning Post, the promotional videos will be featuring seven themes: Exclusive Seoul, Fashionable Seoul, K-Wave Seoul, Historic Seoul, Extreme Seoul, Relaxing Seoul, and Delicious Seoul. In "Exclusive Seoul," BTS member V is wearing a Korean traditional clothing "hanbok" and will be introducing the exclusive traditional Korean food dining destinations.

For "Fashionable Seoul," BTS member Suga will be introducing street fashion, culture, and will recommend K-Beauty experience. BTS member J-Hope will be in "K-Wave Seoul," where he will be teaching latest K-pop dance moves, will show people how to do free-styling at K-starROAD, and will be introducing Korean wave's culture and products.

In "Historic Seoul," BTS member Jin will show the culture and history of the country, where he will be portraying traditional martial arts, as well as how to make traditional pottery at Namsan Beacon Fire Station. For "Extreme Seoul," BTS member RM will be promoting extreme sports such as rock climbing on Mount Bukhan, and festivals like Waterbomb Festival.

BTS member Jimin will introduce "Relaxing Seoul," featuring Seoul's city wall and will show people relaxing while kayaking on the Han River. Lastly, in "Delicious Seoul," BTS member Jungkook will be strolling through Dokkaebi Night Market to introduce different dishes that will tingle one's taste buds.

These promotional videos are part of Seoul's goal in hope to attract 50 million tourists by the year 2023. The city believes BTS' promotional videos will be a great help in attracting traveler around the world as the boy band is popular worldwide.

Director of the tourism and sports bureau at the local government, Joo Yong-tae, said the popularity of BTS reached the international stardom, so they chose the boy band as honorary ambassadors to make a better appeal to the world with hot tourism contents of Seoul.
