BTS is without a doubt the world's biggest boy band today. Ever since their international debut, a lot of artists have worked closely with them. Now, the recent addition is none other than Charlie Puth.

According to Allkpop, BTS and Charlie Puth will be collaborating in a stage at the upcoming 2018 MGA. The singer-songwriter has previously expressed his interest in collaborating with the K-pop band. They often said to each other about working on a project. It is a treat for the fans to see them on the same stage.

The 2018 MGA is expected to be hosted by MBC Plus and Genie Music. It is slated on November 6 and will be held at the Incheon at the Namdong Gymnasium. BTS and Charlie Puth are said to be grace the stage together.

BTS, in particular, saw international success following their first AMA debut. The group has since then collaborated with other artists in the industry. They worked with the titular DJ Steve Aoki to remix the song "Mic Drop." The world's biggest boy band also collaborated with Nicki Minaj in the song "Idol."

In a more recent project, BTS worked again with Aoki to deliver the new track titled "Waste It On Me." Although the song featured three of the group's members - RM, Jimin, and Jungkook - it quickly became popular. As of this writing, the song's lyric video has amassed millions of views.

In related news, Forbes reports that BTS was recently recognized by their home country after all members received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit. It took place last October 24 at the 2018 Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards. Interestingly, the band - composed of 7 members with age ranging from 21 to 25 - has become the youngest recipients of the prominent award in history.

After thanking their fans all over the world, BTS leader RM delivered a short speech to acknowledge the award and gave his fellow members the chance to speak. V, in particular, talked about making his own family proud, saying that he could not find the words to express how grateful he is.

Other BTS member Jimin explained that the award was so meaningful to him. He said that it came as a way to thank his family, agency, staff, and members. The group has also become the torchbearers of the Hallyu legacy, which is also known as the Korean Wave. This one here dates back to the 1990s.
