Kim Kardashian and Kanye West both met with the President of Uganda, Yoweri K. Museveni, during their trip on the country just recently. Now, a new report claims Kardashian wants to divorce West after a meeting with the African leader, who passed anti-homosexuality laws in 2014. However, this claim was debunked and consists of factual errors.
According to Star magazine, Kardashian isn't happy that her husband arranged the meeting with Museveni. An alleged source of the tabloid claims the reality star considered the meeting as her "final straw" and she thinks her husband is only dragging her down. West allegedly wants to stay in Africa until he finished his album, the source added, but Kardashian told him he could stay there as long as he likes because he isn't welcome to their home anymore.
The outlet further contends the Kardashian is now consulting with lawyers and accountants to break things immediately. And although she gave her best shot to their marriage, she thinks everything wasn't enough. The unidentifiable tipster the concluded, "She hopes this break will be the necessary shock to get Kanye back into a mental facility for treatment and medication."
But according to Gossip Cop, the claim of the tabloid was full of factual errors. First, Kardashian and West's meeting with Museveni is all about promoting arts and tourism in the country. The reality star even posed for a picture with the Ugandan President, and she would not agree with that meeting in the first place if she had problems with it.
Also, E! News reported that after their meeting, Kardashian and West flew on Museveni's helicopter so they can visit a charity event for local kids. People magazine also reported the spouses' trip to Uganda, noting both of them looks happy together. The two even went on safari and went on private fishing along with their daughter, North.
And despite the tabloid's claim that Kardashian wants a divorce, she recently explained during an interview in "The Messy Truth with Van Jones" why she'll stay on West's side regardless how his political views may be. The reality star explained that although her husband isn't a good communicator most of the times, she said that he has a big heart and she knows what he means. Kardashian said West always lift her and give her confidence, so she will always do the same for him, even though everyone doubts them.
