Blake Shelton announced his "Friends & Heroes 2019" tour and revealed the famous stars who would join him. The 42-year-old singer also discussed a sweet event in him and his girlfriend's, Gwen Stefani, life in an episode of "The Voice."
Blake Shelton couldn't help but gush about Gwen Stefani on "The Voice." Although the show's episode was all about knockouts, he still managed to rave about his girlfriend.
According to Hollywood Life, Blake Shelton was rehearsing with "The Voice" contestant, Kameron Marlowe, and Mariah Carey. When the inspiring singer revealed that he would sing Bob Marley's "I Got the Sheriff," Miranda Lambert's former husband felt sentimental.
Blake Shelton told Mariah Carey that "I Got the Sheriff" reminded him of Gwen Stefani. "This is my lake song," he said. "Me and Gwen go out on the lake in the pontoon and pretend we're actually out on the ocean."
Although some fans didn't exactly get "I Got the Sheriff" connection with their outing, they found it romantic that Blake Shelton remembered Gwen Stefani with just a song's title. It only proved that the "I Lived It" hitmaker was truly head over heels for the No Doubt's former frontwoman.
Blake Shelton also raved about Gwen Stefani on Twitter when she announced her deluxe Christmas album's release."Ladies and Gentlemen... THIS is how you make awesome awesomer... The best bestester... Perfection more perfectiony!!" he said. The couple is about to celebrate their third anniversary, and they continue to show their affection for each other.
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton announced his "Friends and Heroes 2019" tour, along with veteran singers John Anderson, Trace Adkins, and the Bellamy Brothers, per Billboard. ACM new female vocalist of the year Lauren Alaina would also join them, and a surprise special guest. Would it be Gwen Stefani?
Blake Shelton revealed he is now excited for "Friends and Heroes 2019" tour. His upcoming concert would not only take him where he came from, but it would also feature the music he grew up listening to. He also added that the event would introduce him to a new set of audience.
Gwen Stefani's boyfriend continued to say that a lot of people might still know Bellamy Brothers' and John Anderson's music, but not familiar with their stand as country music artists. So, he found "Friends and Heroes 2019" tour as a great opportunity for the genre's fans to get introduced again to these icons. He also revealed that he is even excited to share the stage with them.
