There is a big possibility that Kaido would keep Luffy in his custody in "One Piece" Chapter 924. Here, the Straw Heart Pirates' captain could meet Eustass Kid, one of the rookies that Kaido detained, and his crew imprisoned.
Fans expect Kid would side with the anti-Kaido group in "One Piece" Chapter 924. If that happened, their plan to bring Kaido down would be a probability. The two might set up a plan to escape their cell.
