The inspiring speech delivered by BTS member RM during the 73rd UN General Assembly back in September made a huge impact in schools across different countries as it is now being used in study materials and exam papers.

On September 24, RM's historical speech encouraged everyone that they should find their name, find their voice, and they should speak for themselves - it doesn't matter what their skin color or gender identity is. This inspiring speech has made its way on schools in various countries including Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, as well as the United States.

Several pictures of study materials and exam papers escalated on the internet over the past weeks, and it's clear to see that teachers and exam boards were moved by the historical speech. An English midterm exam in a particular Korean high school asked students to read the speech of RM and to choose the exact order of the following paragraphs.

A principal of another Korean high school wrote an excerpt from RM's speech on an announcement board, where it stated that students should watch it before taking the tests the next day. Meanwhile, a student in a Korean elementary school shared a Korean translation of the speech and gave students a print after watching the video in class.

Middle schools in Vietnam and Singapore also used the speech in exam papers, where it asked the students to "speak themselves" and to answer questions about the text.

According to Soompi, the impact of RM's speech in different schools is not just because of popularity, it is the result of their positive influence and the values they hold. BTS recently celebrated the anniversary of "Love Myself" campaign with UNICEF and thanked the ARMY for helping them in spreading awareness, promoting self-love, and making the world a better place.

BTS members were also active and supportive in helping UNICEF's #EndViolence campaign. The UNICEF Korea announced on November 2 that the boy band they raised over 1.6 billion won (approximately $1.4 million) in just one year - in efforts to spread positivity and end violence.
