It may come as a surprise, but the talented 'Havana' singer Camila Cabello recently just showed the world that she is more than just a pretty face when she hooked six awards at the recent MTV EMAs 2018.
Happiness, excitement, and thankfulness were painted in the 21-year-old Cabello's face as she receives her awards at the star-studded awards' night, which was held in Bilbao, Spain last Sunday. Who wouldn't right? To be given the Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop, Best Song, Best US Act, and Biggest Fans awards among all artists of different genre is such a huge accomplishment.
Cabello had lost her words of gratitude when she received her last award. According to her, she was so overwhelmed and still can't believe what is going on at that moment saying, "Wow I don't know what to say! I feel so lucky to even be here tonight, I feel so lucky to even be nominated. Shout out to my wife Ariana who is also nominated."
Among all artists, the 'No Tears Left to Cry' singer Ariana Grande and 'Never be the Same' singer Cabello were the ones whose talent has outshined the others as they received the most nominations. Cabello and Grande were nominated in the same five categories, which are the Best Video, Best Artist, Best Pop, Best Song, and Best US Act, as posted by Dailymail. But unfortunately, Grande wasn't able to scoop any of these awards.

After scooping six awards in one night, she can't help herself but be thankful to her fans because she believed she could never gain even one single award without them. According to Spy NZ Herald, the singer can see clearly through her fans how much her fans have supported and cared for her in every way possible, so she wants to thank them enough.
Cabello also shared her experience being a fan herself saying, "I love you guys so much. I love my fans so much. This is for my fans. I know what it's like to be a fan. I remember when I was 14 years old watching these shows and waiting for my favorite artist to come on and I know how special that bond is between a fan and an artist.
Other artists who gained awards at the said event were American D.J. Marshmello as the night's "Best Electronic," Janet Jackson who received a "Global Icon" award, Nicki Minaj who won two awards at the "Best Hip-Hop" and "Best Look", Dua Lipa, who was awarded "Best Pop," 5 Seconds of Summer, awarded with "Best Rock," and Shawn Mendes with "Best Live."
