Before the premiere of tvN's "Memories of the Alhambra," Hyun Bin revealed the reason why he chose the drama as his return project on the small screen. The series marks the comeback of the actor after three years, where he will be playing the role of Yoo Jin Woo, a CEO of an investment company who ended up staying at an old hostel in Granada during his business trip to Spain.

According to Soompi, when Hyun Bin was asked why he decided to do "Memories of the Alhambra" as his comeback on the small screen, he said he always liked the works of writer Song Jae Jung who happened to be the writer of the series. The actor shared that, the first time he laid his hands on the script, he became completely immersed in reading it.

Hyun Bin also mentioned he's excited to work with director Ahn Gil Ho as he heard a lot about his previous works, such as the "Forest of Secrets." Then, he teased viewers to anticipate the action scenes and fantasy elements in the drama, saying some aspects were different from other action scenes he's done before. He is also confident with the immersive storyline of the "Memories of the Alhambra" as there will be intriguing developments which were beyond the imaginations of viewers in every new episode. So, it will always leave viewers curious about what will happen next.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye also talked about on how she prepares for her role on the upcoming drama. The actress will be playing the role Jung Hee Joo, a woman who went to Spain to pursue her dreams to become a guitarist but had to give up that dream to provide for her family.

Park Shin Hye said her role is someone who's strong and not afraid to stand her ground. The actress revealed she is particularly making efforts in learning how to play "Memories of the Alhambra" - which is a legendary classical guitar song. She shared it is a famous yet difficult song, so she felt pressured about it. But, she told herself the only way to be better is to continue practicing, so she practiced a lot but had a difficult times mastering the tremolo.

Park Shin Hye also said she even practiced with a slowed-down version of the song to build up her skills. Then, the actress said she's excited with the "Memories of the Alhambra" because the cast, as well as the crew, are working hard on making the series. She said the drama would delight the eyes and ears of viewers, which makes a perfect blend of romance and action.

Memories of the Alhambra will be airing its first episode on December 1 at 9 p.m. KST.
