Angelina Jolie is not "secretly crushing" on David Beckham for years, and it's not also true she recently started sending him secret texts, despite the claim of a tabloid. This story has been corrected and confirmed to be completely fabricated.

NW magazine claims Jolie has been texting Beckham to talk about their collaboration on a charity project, but this was only a "scheme" to get to know the former soccer player better. The alleged source of the outlet contends the two became very close after doing an ad campaign a few years ago, and the actress couldn't take him out of her mind since then and started to have a secret crush on him.

The unknown insider maintains Jolie got Beckham's contact details from their mutual friend and tried to set a get-together. Another reason why the actress wanted to be close with him, as per the source, is because she wanted to repair her image amid the custody battle with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

And then, the unidentifiable source further asserted Jolie believes they have a lot in common and she's hoping Beckham would teach her daughter Shiloh some soccer moves as she was a keen player. The tabloid then speculated Beckham's wife, Victoria, is not happy the actress is sending secret texts to his husband.

"Victoria pouts and kicks up a stink whenever David is seen getting friendly with other women," the tipster continues, so that would only mean she'll stop him on signing up on any projects with Jolie.

But, Beckham's spokesperson confirmed to Gossip Cop that the report of the publication is not true. The actress isn't also sending him secret messages, nor crushing on him for years. It can be noted that Jolie is focused on her six kids and no interest in dating. Also, this wouldn't be good on her image or legal battle if she's trying to steal a man who's married for 20 years and have four children - opposed to the tabloid's claim she wanted to repair her image amid custody battle.

NW magazine has been busted several times for making false narratives about the personal life of Jolie. For instance, the tabloid wrongly reported the actress is dating Keanu Reeves, but this wasn't even mentioned on its latest claim. And earlier of this year, the same outlet maintained Jolie has been crushing on Chris Hemsworth, which was only fabricated as well. Hence, the tabloid is only making stories to link the actress to famous random men.
