It looks like couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are going through hard times in their relationship. A new report suggests that the two are reportedly having a hard time getting pregnant.

It came to light when the latest issue of Us Weekly Magazine claimed Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are now considering starting a family after three years of dating. The two, however, are looking to hire a surrogate to carry their first child after multiple unsuccessful in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempts over the past few years.

"[Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani] they are determined to have a child together and are in the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby," an unnamed source told Us Weekly Magazine, as quoted by USA Today. "It's extremely important to Gwen that she give Blake a biological child, and Blake is so excited," the source added.

Despite being in the process of hiring a surrogate, Gwen Stefani has allegedly not stop trying to conceive naturally. The 49-year-old singer and songwriter - who is already a mother of three to 12-year-old Kingston, 10-year-old Zuma Nesta, and four-year-old Apollo Bowie - is hoping that her next baby would be a girl.

Just days after it came to light, Gwen Stefani's representative (via Gossip Cop) immediately debunked the report and stressed that the entire narrative is baseless. The couple also have no plans to have a baby right now since both of them are busy with their respective careers.

Gwen Stefani is busy preparing for the second leg of her on-going concert residency called "Just A Girl," which will kick off on Dec. 27 at the Zappos Theater in Las Vegas. It is scheduled to conclude on March 16, 2019.
