A new report claims Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes will be having their wedding early next year in Paris. This story, however, has been debunked and corrected.
NW magazine reported Foxx and Holmes were allegedly planning to get married in the French capital as they just got "engaged" earlier of this month. The source of the outlet said the two have planned to go to Paris early next year to get hitched, though it didn't mention when will be the exact date. Both of them allegedly liked the European city since they can sneak around unnoticed and people there don't even care who they are.
Then, the publication claimed Foxx is planning to adopt Holmes' 12-year-old daughter Suri as soon as they got married. The source asserted Suri loves the actor and looks at him as a father figure, and because of this, Tom Cruise will be out of shape as Foxx will be adopting his daughter. But, it can be noted that Cruise has been estranged from his daughter for several years. Yet, the tabloid concluded the actor will adopt Holmes' daughter when the right time comes, but not before they said their vows.
"And in a couple of months, Katie and Jamie could be Mr. and Mrs. Foxx-y!" the untraceable tipster even declared.
According to Gossip Cop, the claim of NW magazine has many errors and problems, and the major issue is that Foxx and Holmes weren't even engaged. The "engagement" rumor only started because the actress was seen earlier this month in New Orleans wearing a diamond ring on her finger. But, she's wearing the ring on the set of her upcoming movie, The Secret.
A rep for Holmes confirmed to Page Six that the actress wasn't engaged to Foxx or anyone; she's only engaged in her new movie but not in real life. To further confirm the claim was not true, a rep for the actress also told Gossip Cop that the two weren't planning to get married early next year in Paris, and the report of the magazine is only based on a non-existent source. The claim that the actor plans to adopt Suri is not true as well.
NW magazine has little to no insight into the relationship of Holmes and Foxx, where it was also busted back in March for wrongly reporting they were expecting a baby. But, months had already passed, and the actress doesn't have a baby bump, and this wasn't even mentioned on their latest claim.
