Is someone going to Los Angeles Lakers soon? If this is true, then a rumor over the summer that Lebron James tried to sway Kevin Durant to team up with the Lakers might be materialized sooner or later.

According to Silver Screen & Roll, the rumored NBA trade won't be a surprise to envision, especially after Durant emotional exchanges with his teammate Draymond Green on Monday Night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The dispute led to Green's one-game suspension without pay served by the Golden State Warriors executives.

Kevin Durant previously denied the rumor, but sports analyst Brian Windhorst of ESPN suggested that Green's recent rant about the former's free agency might be the answer of every speculation that the 30-year-old Washington native is indeed joining Lebron James. As per Windhorst, James' alleged attempts in trying to have Durant in Lakers may not just be a "throwaway flier."

James might have known all this time that Durant has had intentions in moving to Los Angeles. It is said that the 33-year-old Lakers forward purportedly sent a text message to Durant about his possible transfer to LA in an attempt to make him consider the possibility.

However, the alleged text message remains unconfirmed if it was indeed Lebron James who reached out to Kevin Durant or it could be one of his representatives. The idea is when Draymond Green exchanged spiteful words with Durant during Monday night's game when he challenged the latter's free agency, it might be the start of everything.

When Durant signed a two-year $54.3 million contract with the Golden State Warriors in July 2016, fans as well as NBA analysts received it poorly comparing it with Lebron James' departure from his hometown's team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat in 2010. Other sports analysts though insisted that it was a wise move for Durant as he chose to play alongside the Hall of Fame players in the person of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala.

As what Silver Screen & Roll suggested, given how important for James to have one of the few best players in the history of NBA to team up with him, it wouldn't be much of a surprise that Kevin Durant might run off to Los Angeles soon. He has been one of the best NBA players of all time as soon as he started with the Oklahoma Thunder in 2008.

He signed a five-year contract extension with Oklahoma before the start of the 2009 - 2010 season worth $86 million. Kevin Durant wears Jersey #35 for the Golden State Warriors.
